Two Stores, One Family

Capt. Bruce Hrobak opens the North Store before the sun is up, and Tanner and the crew hold down Stuart. Different water out the door, same family behind the counter. The Stuart shop has been on its corner for over 40 years.

What live bait do you carry?

Live shrimp in three sizes, wild live shiners, live minnows and mullet, plus crickets, worms, and fresh saltwater bait. The shiners are the best around, and regulars will tell you the same.

What time does the Port St. Lucie store open?

Mon - Thu: 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Fri - Sat: 5:30 AM - 8:00 PM, Sun: 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM. We are open seven days a week, and the doors open early enough to get bait before first light.

Do you repair rods and reels?

Yes. We handle rod and reel repair right at the counter, and we rig trolling squids by hand.

How many locations does Billy Bones have?

Two family-run stores on the Treasure Coast: the North Store at 10602 S US Highway 1 in Port St. Lucie and the South Store at 494 SE Monterey Rd in Stuart, on the same corner for over 40 years.

Do you offer veteran or military discounts?

Yes. Veteran and military discounts are available at both stores. Ask at the counter.

Walk In A Customer, Leave Part Of The Family

This water is the family business. When toxic algae hit the Treasure Coast, Capt. Bruce took the fight all the way to the White House podium in 2019 to stand up for the river his customers fish. People come back because the crew tells them the truth about the bite. This site just makes sure they can find the door.
